-
Boost bar (Cadbury's) - This chocolate
bar is my all time favourite because for me it is
the perfect combination of chewy, tasty and simply.
I rate this bar 10 out of 10 and to be the most
classic and perfect chocolate bar to date.
-
Curly Wurly (Cadbury's) - I have
not and do not plan to ever work for Cadbury. A
lot of my favourite bars are made by this company
and I guess this
is
because they are a UK based company and they dominated
the UK market during the 1970s and 1980s. The Curly
Wurly is with its toffee and chocolate combination
and fun shape all made me love this bar when I was
a child.
-
Kit Kat (Nestle) - surely has
to go down as one of the alt time classic bars and
it is still going strong. What better bar to have
than a Kit Kat, when you sit down a cup of English
tea. A cup of tea and a Kit Kat. What else is needed?
-
Galaxy (Mars) - is another pure
chocolate classic and with its smooth, creamy and
rich taste this bar is hard to beat. This bat by
Mars is up there with the best chocolate bars on
the market.
- Chocolate Orange (Terrys) - an
absolutely wonderful bar. Can anything really beat
the combination of chocolate and orange. In my view,
Terrys have perfected this taste combination and the
Terry's chocolate orange is about as good as it gets.
-
Mint Crunchie (Cadbury) - almost
as good as the choco and orange taste is choco and
mint. Cadburys with their mint honeycombs and choc
flavour and the texture of this bar make it an easy
one to include in the top 10.
-
Toblerone (Suchard) - is the bar
which has probably been in the most Christmas stockings
as a stocking filler, compared to any other bar.
A Xmas favourite, this is a classic which has easily
stood the test of time.
-
Dairy Milk (Cadbury) - does not
really need much introduction. The Dairy Milk bar
is a simply yet is sure to be around in another
50 years time. It has been tried in many varieties
but the classic Dairy Milk still sells well.
- Mars Bar (Mars) - must be one of
the best known chocolate bars worldwide. Coca Cola
and Pepsi all are huge brand names and they are matched
by Mars'. Variations now include ice cream versions.
-
Bounty (Mars) - are one of the
most memorable bars from TV advertising with an
exotic Caribbean set of campaigns used over time
to promote this bar. With its coconut and choc combination
it is hard to resist this bar.
