If you’re a chocolate lover and an ice cream lover, this combination is pure heaven for you. Considered one of the first three traditional flavors (Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry) of ice cream, Chocolate ice cream is one of the most popular and well loved flavors in the world today.
Ice cream recipes, or Iced cream as it was first called, were first published somewhere in the 18th Century and was considered a dessert for
special occasions. It became so popular however that 
multiple productions soon started all over the world, revolutionizing ice cream as we know it today.
Chocolate ice cream is made from a combination of milk, cream, flavorings and sweeteners such as vanilla and chocolate essence and of course, the ever essential chocolate. The whole mixture is stirred slowly to get the smooth creamy textured ice cream that we all know and love.
There are so many kinds of chocolate ice cream in the world today that it’s really hard to say which ones are the best unless you’ve tried them all. You’ll find chocolate ice cream almost anywhere you go, from supermarkets to ice cream stands and restaurants, choices are never limited. The best part of it all is that if you ever feel so enchanted by chocolate ice cream and want to try making some on your own (or you think you can do better than most of the companies out there ), you could easily do so!
If you think that chocolate ice cream has gotten boring over the years, you haven’t looked at the markets lately. Varieties abound, chocolate ice cream doesn’t just have to come in its “traditional form” anymore. You get funky choices such as chocolate ice cream mixed with cookie dough, chocolate mint ice cream, chocolate cheesecake ice cream, and my most recent favorite, double chocolate fudge ice cream and chocolate brownie ice cream.
The thing I love about chocolate ice cream is that it’s the coolest dessert (literally), and an aphrodisiac at the same time. Whether you eat it as a reward, on occasion, to indulge or just because you feel like it, you get nothing but positive vibes from this delightful concoction. And if you really want to know how much the world loves ice cream, ask the Americans! They have a National Chocolate Ice cream day where people all across indulge in this all time favorite, though I’m sure the incentives aren’t needed anywhere in the world at all! There is of course also World Chocolate Day.
